Tucked away on a second floor balcony overlooking the new Piazza della Famiglia, Morning Glory San Diego is a millennial instagrammers dream. Extravagant wall hangings, crystal tableware, and vibrant colors make for aesthetically pleasing photos and experiences.

The number one item on the menu is Japanese inspired soufflé pancakes. The fluffy and light flapjacks come topped with powdered sugar and are accompanied by syrup and whipped butter. Each bite brings back childhood memories of Sunday mornings in the breakfast nook, but with a sophisticated edge and lavender latte in place of glass of milk. For those leaning towards the savory side of Sunday brunch, do not worry; Morning Glory covers everything from classic American and British breakfasts to Middle Eastern Shakshuka and Avocado Toast named "Millennial Tears."

In order to indulge in the sweets, treats, and instagram moments, you'll have to endure a wait time averaging forty five minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the time and day. If you are a customer who desires an "experience" in your dining, Morning Glory is well worth the wait.
